If you answered true to that SAT-esque question in the title of this blog post then you just scored high on the test! The new paradigm that you will hear in 2010 and beyond is that with the Office Pro Plus suite you'll also get SharePoint Workspace Manager (the product formerly known as Groove).  If you had Office 2007 including Outlook 2007 you already know how easy it is to connect your SharePoint data to Outlook.  We will have to wait and see if that capability is still possible in Outlook 2010, if we'll have to pay more for it and purchase an Office suite that includes SharePoint Workspace Manager.  This raises another question.  How much of the management functionality of your SharePoint workspaces will really be in the former Groove product as opposed to through the web browser. It would be a sad day to make a desktop client a requirement of a web based platform - though it would be easy to argue that SharePoint already requires SharePoint Designer and the Office suite in terms of document friendly formats.  Watch this space for more updates!
